World Poker Finals 1997
The 1997 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was a series of poker tournaments held at Binion's Horseshoe. Most notably, it was the only WSOP where the Main Event final table took place outdoors, at the Fremont Street Experience, just outside Binions.

World Poker Finals 1997 World Series
- Within five years, three hundred players would enter the world championship. Growing pains were a major concern once again in 1997. The Horseshoe's poker room was expanded and included a temporary tournament area that blocked off valet parking and the main casino entrance for nearly six weeks.
